IMAF, (Independent Mortgage Advisers Federation) is the umbrella organisation which represents over 83 brokers nationwide. Our members generated €7.1 billion in mortgages last year and account for over 60% of the business generated by mortgage brokers.
Independence & Choice...
A survey by the Consumers Association of Ireland, found that 50% of the brokers had only 2 appointments from lenders... How can a mortgage broker offer choice while operating with such a limited number of lenders? All IMAF members must have a minimum of 5 agencies from lenders.
Professional Standards...
An IMAF broker will have the necessary experience, be properly qualified and will have suitable insurance cover to offer the best advice.
